An author and journalist associated with the monthly magazine Pismo and Tygodnik Powszechny. He has published Hajstry. Krajobraz bocznych dróg, Kiczery. Podróż przez Bieszczady, Pałace na wodzie. Tropem polskich bobrów and Puszcza domowa. Co kryje Kampinos, as well as the children’s novel Wodyseja. His latest book is Faronauci. Dookoła Bałtyku. He has received several travel and literary awards, as well as nominations. He has also received bursary from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the City of Warsaw, and the Swiss foundation Fondation Jan Michalski. He writes about nature and everything that happens at the intersection of nature and art. He lives in Warsaw and travels all over Poland.
