He is a novelist and translator. He is the author of the novels Skoruń, Robinson w Bolechowie, Golem, and Kaspel i Margit. He has translated works by H. P. Lovecraft, William Faulkner, and J. G. Ballard. He has received numerous awards for his work, including the Angelus Central European Literary Award, the Kościelski Foundation Award, and the Gdynia Literary Prize, and has been shortlisted for the Nike Literary Award twice.
