Accessibility for events
Admission to the events is free, no prior registration is required. All meetings with authors and debates, regardless of venue, will be interpreted into Polish Sign Language.
Architectural accessibility
Our office is located in Goyki 3 Art Inkubator at Jakub Goyki 3 in Sopot.
Goyki 3 Art InkubatorThe entrance to the building is at pavement level. There is a lift available inside the building. The interior spaces are accessible – the corridors and most rooms are wide enough to allow for easy movement. There is a bathroom on site adapted for people with disabilities. You may enter the building with an assistance dog or a guide dog.
Goyki Park
The park grounds are flat, with no steep slopes or hills. The park features paved walking paths, some of which have wooden surfaces. There are numerous benches throughout the park for resting. A bathroom adapted for people with disabilities is located in the Goyki 3 Art Inkubator building, situated on the same site. You may enter the park with an assistance dog or a guide dog.
Location: The building is situated at ul. Jakuba Goyki 3, very close to the city centre, between the railway tracks and the sea.
How to get there: You can get there by taking the SKM Trójmiasto train to the station “Sopot” (located at ul. Tadeusza Kościuszki 14). From there, it is about a 15-minute walk along ul. Obrońców Westerplatte, heading away from the city centre. There are also bus stops nearby: “Goyki” (direction: Gdynia) and “Malczewskiego” (direction: Gdańsk). The path to the building leads over a small, paved rise.
Parking: Paid parking spaces are available nearby, including spaces designated for people with disabilities. Bicycle parking spaces are also available.
National Gallery of Art
The main entrance to the building is at pavement level, and the entrance doors open automatically. There is a passenger lift available in the building. The interior spaces are fully accessible – both the corridors and rooms are sufficiently wide, allowing for easy movement. There is a bathroom adapted for people with disabilities on every floor. You may enter the building with an assistance dog or a guide dog.
Location: The State Art Gallery is situated at Plac Zdrojowy 2, right in the centre of Sopot, on
ul. Bohaterów Monte Cassino (known as Monciak) and Plac Przyjaciół Sopotu, with a view of the sea and the pier.
How to get there?: You can get there by taking the SKM Trójmiasto train to the station “Sopot” (located at ul. Tadeusza Kościuszki 14). From there, it is about a 10-minute walk along ul. Bohaterów Monte Cassino towards the sea. The route follows a wide, cobbled path.
Parking: A limited number of paid parking spaces are available nearby, including spaces designated for people with disabilities. Due to its central location in the tourist part of the city, finding a free space can be difficult, particularly during the summer season, so we recommend using public transport.

Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Savior
The entrance to the building is at a pavement level. The interior space is located on one level, but there are small thresholds and height differences, for example, the benches are placed on a slightly raised platform. There is a bathroom on the ground floor, but it is quite narrow and does not allow for wheelchair maneuvering, nor does it include other accessibility adaptations. Assistance dogs and guide dogs are allowed inside.
Location: The church is located at ul. Parkowa 5 (Skwer ks. Otto Bowiena), next to a small park. It is situated a short distance from the beach and the sea, in the seaside part of the city.
How to get there: You can get there by taking the SKM Trójmiasto train to the station “Sopot” (located at ul. Tadeusza Kościuszki 14), then you need to walk about 13 minutes along ul. Bohaterów Monte Cassino toward the sea. Near the Dom Zdrojowy building, turn toward the park area where the church is located.
Parking: A limited number of paid parking spaces are available nearby, including spaces designated for people with disabilities. Due to the central location in the tourist area of the city, especially in the summer season, finding a free spot may be difficult, so we recommend using public transport.
Smak Słowa bookshop
The entrance to the bookstore requires passing three steps, there is no ramp for wheelchair users. The interior space is on one level, without thresholds, steps, or stairs. There is no accessible bathroom on site. Assistance dogs and guide dogs are allowed inside.
Location: The bookstore is located at ul. Bohaterów Monte Cassino 6A, in the very center of Sopot, on the main pedestrian street (known as Monciak), a short distance from the “Sopot” train station (ul. Tadeusza Kościuszki 14).
How to get there: You can reach it by taking the SKM Trójmiasto train to the “Sopot” station, then walking about 5 minutes. The bookstore is located in the upper part of the pedestrian street, in line with the station. The “Bohaterów Monte Cassino” bus stop (direction: Gdańsk) is about a one‑minute walk from the bookstore. The stop in the direction of Gdynia is accessible via an underpass located directly next to the bookstore.
Parking: Paid parking spaces are available nearby, including spaces designated for people with disabilities. The nearest underground parking is in the “Sopot Centrum” complex (ul. Tadeusza Kościuszki 12).
3siostry Café
The entrance to 3 Siostry Café‑Club is slightly above pavement level (a terrace‑like platform), accessed by two steps and a ramp. Inside, there are few singular steps, thresholds, and stairs. The building does not have a lift. There is no accessible bathroom on site. Assistance dogs and guide dogs are allowed inside.
Location: 3 Siostry Café‑Club is located at ul. Powstańców Warszawy 6 in Sopot, within the Dom Zdrojowy complex.
Dwie Zmiany Café
Location: Dwie Zmiany Café‑Club is located at ul. Bohaterów Monte Cassino 31 in Sopot.
Scena Kameralna at Wybrzeże Theatre
Location: The Chamber Stage is located at ul.Bohaterów Monte Cassino 30 in Sopot, in the central part of the pedestrian street.
Sopoteka
Location: Sopoteka is located in the “Sopot Centrum” complex at ul. Tadeusza Kościuszki 12 in Sopot.
Book Fair
Location: The event takes place at Sopot Friends Squere, in the very center of the city, accessible via ul. Bohaterów Monte Cassino (known as Monciak).

There are two entrances to the venue. One is at pavement level, but after entering there are several steps leading to the main space. The second entrance is slightly above pavement level, there is a ramp, but then a small step at the doorway. Inside, there are singular steps and thresholds. There is no lift inside the building. There is no accessible bathroom on site. Assistance dogs and guide dogs are allowed inside..
Parking: Paid parking spaces are available in the area, including spaces designated for people with disabilities. The nearest underground parking is in the “Sopot Centrum” complex (ul. Tadeusza Kościuszki 12).
The Chamber Stage of the Wybrzeże Theatre has a main entrance directly at pavement level. The entrance doors open semi‑automatically, making access easier for people with limited mobility. There is a lift inside the building. In the foyer, there is a tactile map (to the right of the entrance) to assist blind and visually impaired visitors. An accessible bathroom is located to the left of the entrance to the auditorium. Assistance dogs and guide dogs are allowed inside.
How to get there: You can reach it by taking the SKM Trójmiasto train to the “Sopot” station (ul. Tadeusza Kościuszki 14), then walking about 5 minutes along the main pedestrian street toward the sea and the pier.
Parking: Paid parking spaces are available nearby, including spaces designated for people with disabilities. During the tourist season, parking availability in the city center may be limited. The nearest underground parking is in the “Sopot Centrum” complex (ul. Tadeusza Kościuszki 12).

Sopoteka is located on the first floor of a building. The main entrance to the facility is on the underground level –1. The building is equipped with a lift and escalators, allowing movement between floors. There is a paid bathroom on level 0. The Sopoteka space on level 1 is fully accessible and located on a single floor, without thresholds, steps, or other architectural barriers. Assistance dogs and guide dogs are allowed inside.
How to get there:: You can reach it by taking the SKM Trójmiasto train to the “Sopot” station, which is directly integrated into the “Sopot Centrum” complex. From the main entrance (level –1), take the lift or escalator to level 1, where Sopoteka is located.
Parking: The “Sopot Centrum” complex includes a paid underground parking garage, with spaces designated for people with disabilities.
The Book Fair takes place in two large tents set on a slightly raised platform. Ramps lead into the tents. Inside, the space is wide and allows for easy movement, although during peak hours there may be heavy foot traffic and crowding. There are no bathrooms. Other than that, there are no other architectural barriers at the event site. Assistance dogs and guide dogs are allowed.
