He is a writer and a veterinary surgeon. He received the Nike Award, the Janusz A. Zajdel Award, the Jerzy Żuławski Award, the Nowa Fantastyka Award and the European Science Fiction Society Award in the Best Written Work of Fiction category for his novel Baśń o wężowym sercu albo wtóre słowo o Jakóbie Szeli (Powergraph, 2019). He is the author of the Agla trilogy (Alef, 2022; Aurora, 2023; and Abraxas, 2025), all of which were published by Powergraph, as well as the libretto for the opera Baśń o sercu, which was nominated for the Fryderyk Award. He has also written the gamebook Dunder albo kot z zaświatu (Muduko, 2024) and the children's novel Maja i czas motyli (Powergraph, 2026). He enjoys helping his wife transform caterpillars into butterflies.
