A literary and cultural studies scholar, Agnieszka Dauksza is based at the Faculty of Polish Studies at Jagiellonian University. She is the author of several books, including Ludzie nieznaczni. Taktyki przetr- wania (Karakter, 2024), Jaremianka. Biografia (Znak, 2019), Afekty- wny modernizm (Institute of Literary Research, Polish Academy of Sciences, 2017), Klub Auschwitz i inne kluby. Rwane opowieści przeżyw- ców (słowo/obraz terytoria, 2016; Znak, 2021), and Kobiety na drodze.Doświadczenie przestrzeni publicznej w literaturze przełomu XIX i XX wieku (Universitas, 2013). A finalist for the Nike Literary Award, she has won numerous accolades, including the Teresa Torańska News- week Award, the Foundation for Polish Science Prize, the Polityka Scientific Award, the Adam Włodek Award, the Gryfia National Lit- erary Award for Women Authors, the Juliusz Upper Silesian Literary Award, and the Krakow UNESCO City of Literature Award. Further- more, she has received creative grants from the cities of Krakow and Gdansk, as well as support from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
