Poet, software developer, and scholar of early literature. He is the author of two novels: Wariant La Plata (KIT, Stowarzyszenie Żywych Poetów, 2022), which is about Polish chess players during the Second World War; and Azard (Drzazgi, 2025), which is about a pre-war attack on Warsaw’s Citadel that never happened. His academic work focuses on medieval chronicles and Baroque poetry. He translates old texts from Polish into Polish. He graduated from the University of Warsaw's Polish Studies programme and received his PhD in 2008 for a thesis on allegory in medieval chronicles. A significant portion of this thesis was published under the title Historia i porządek (2010). He is the author of five poetry collections: Czarne kwiaty dla wszystkich (2003), Wpław (2005), Uwaga, nie ma takiej fali (2008), Metale ciężkie (2010), and Pogańskie morze (2018), as well as the literary criticism book Przerwane procesy (2011). He has reviewed poetry for the magazines Lampa and Wakat, as well as the online publication Dwutygodnik. He has also contributed to Przemyski Przegląd Kulturalny. He is the editor of texts published on the Wolne Lektury website, including the poetry of Władysław Schlengel, which was published based on the author’s typescript held at the Jewish Historical Institute. He is also the author of educational materials on Polish literature. He previously worked at the Polish History Museum. As a programmer, he specialises in traditional artificial intelligence and natural language processing. He has created several chess programs, including Rodent, as well as the Idyota program, which assists in updating texts published in print prior to the 1936 spelling reform. He is a recipient of scholarships from both the Villa Decius and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage. He lives in Warsaw.
