She is a literary scholar who works at the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Silesia in Katowice. She is also a lecturer in Gender Studies at the Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences (IBL PAN). Her research interests focus on contemporary feminist theory and philosophy. She is the author of the monographs: Poetyka rozkwitania. Różnica płciowa w filozofii Luce Irigaray (Lupa Obscura, 2018) and Wybuch wyobraźni. Poezja Anny Świrszczyńskiej wobec reprodukcji życia społecznego (WUŚ, 2022), as well as numerous academic texts and articles devoted to, among others, the philosophy of Luce Irigaray, social reproduction feminism, contemporary women’s poetry, and feminist criticism. She has translated Luce Irigaray’s To Be Born: Genesis of a New Human Being into Polish (Polish edition: słowo/obraz terytoria, 2024; English edition: Palgrave Macmillan, 2017). Her work has recently appeared in the journals Teksty Drugie, Praktyka Teoretyczna, and Wielogłos. She lives in Rybnik.
