A researcher specializing in twentieth-century folk diary writing and an author of critical essays on literature and theatre. A poet in her own right, she is currently completing a doctoral thesis that examines women’s autobiographical strategies of emancipation. She serves on the academic editorial board of the quarterly journal Czas Kultury. Her poetry collections, storytelling and żertwy, were published by Biuro Literackie in 2021 and 2024 respectively, and she is also the author of Przepraszam za brzydkie pismo. Pamiętniki wiejskich kobiet (Czarne, 2025). Her accolades include the Student Nobel Prize in the literature and journalism category, the Wisława Szymborska Award, the Adam Włodek Award, and the Literary Award of the Capital City of Warsaw. Furthermore, her essay collection Przepraszam za brzydkie pismo was nominated for the 2025 Empik Discoveries, the Marcin Król Award, and the Ryszard Kapuściński Award, and was recognized in a Lubimyczytać.pl poll as one of the books of the year for 2025.
