Born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1982, he attended the Faculty of Fine Arts only to end up becoming a writer. Today, he works at an advertising agency and lives near the beach in sunny Estoril with his wife, two daughters, and an equal number of cats. He has written numerous comic books in his home country, although only two, Burza and Cudotwórca, have been published in Poland by Timof Comics. Over the years, he has taken part in several exhibitions and received numerous awards in Portugal, including the National Comics Award for Best Writing in 2014 and 2015, the Comic Con Portugal Annual Award in 2015, and the Comic Con Portugal Award for Best Short Story in 2018.
