He is a graduate of the University of Silesia in Katowice and a former journalist who has worked in a press office for many years. Having grown up in the 1990s, he enjoys revisiting that era through the pages of his books. He won the Kryminalna Piła Award for the Best Polish Urban Crime Novel of 2020 for Blizna and received honourable mentions for the novels Cierń (2021) and Ferment  (2025). He is the creator of the highly acclaimed crime series featuring Inspector Robert Kreft (Ślad, Blizna, Cierń), as well as the series featuring Aleksandra Lazar (Grzęzawisko, Pogorzelisko), and thrillers and short stories. At Wydawnictwo Literackie, he has launched a new series featuring two exceptional investigators: Laura Halber and Adam Linde. The highly acclaimed Ferment will be followed by a sequel this autumn. Readers appreciate him for his craftsmanship, his credible psychological portraits of characters, and the unique atmosphere of his stories. He loves rock music, the mountains and basketball. His dream is to live with his loved ones on the Scottish coast and continue creating intriguing stories.
