She is a writer, journalist and sociologist with a PhD from the Polish Academy of Sciences. An expert in behavioural economics, she specialises in designing and modelling behaviour for companies and institutions, and serves as the president of the Institute of Behavioural Economics. She is the author of the reportage collections Z miłości? Opowieści z Omanu and Krótko i szczęśliwie. Historie późnych miłości. In 2022, she published the novel Proste równolegle, followed in 2026 by Dina, Dina. Romaniuk is also an accomplished children’s author and the creator of the bestselling detective series Kocia Szajka, among other titles for young readers.
