She is a Polish writer and translator. A member of the Association of Polish Writers, she has been nominated for the Nike Literary Award numerous times. She has won the Kościelski Award and the inaugural Julian Tuwim Award. She is the author of the following books: Dreams and Stones, In Red, Moving Parts, Flaw, Kontroler snów (published under the pseudonym Marek Nocny) and Szum. In 2012, she received the Gdynia Literary Award and the Gryfia Literary Award for Włoskie szpilki, which was also nominated for the Nike Literary Award and the Angelus Central European Literature Prize.
