Paweł Biliński is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Film and Media at the University of Gdańsk, as well as Deputy Director at the Andrzej Wajda Film Centre UG. He is also the author of the book Kinematograf o sobie. Autotematyzm w polskim filmie fabularnym. From 2012 to 2019, he was in charge of film education at Klub Żak. A lecturer at the Polish Film Academy, he was one of the originators and editors of Amateurs TV an online programme about cinema. He is a regular contributor to the Ekrany magazine. He co-edited the book Orson Welles. Twórczość - recepcja - dziedzictwo. He has published in Kwartalnik Filmowy, Studia Filmoznawcze, Panoptikum, edukacjafilmowa.pl portal and in collective volumes, to name a few. He is a member of the Polish Society for Film and Media Studies.
