An award-winning author from Moldova, her two novels have been published in Poland by Książkowe Klimaty: Vara în care mama a avut ochii verzi (The Summer My Mother Had Green Eyes, Polish transl. D. Małecki) and Grădina de sticlă (Glass Garden, co-published with Noir Sur Blanc, Polish transl. K. Jurczak). She currently lives and works in Paris and has previously worked as a reporter for independent television, among other roles.
