Born in 1971, is a poet, prose writer, journalist, and columnist who regularly collaborates with the Śląsk monthly and the Katowice City of Gardens – Cultural Institution. He is the author of seven poetry collections — most recently Coming out (WBCiAK) — as well as the short story collection Wiek rębny (Zielona Sowa) and two novels: Harar and Ziemia Nod (W.A.B.). He has been nominated for the Angelus Central European Literature Award and the Gdynia Literary Prize. In 2011, he received the Gwarancje Kultury (Culture Guarantee) award. This year, his latest short story collection Na wulkanie was published by Drzazgi publishing house. He lives in Mysłowice.
