A Polish writer living in Berlin, she made her debut in 2011 with the novel Tunel, and in 2015 won the European Prize for Literature for her novel Magik, which has been translated into more than a dozen languages. In 2016, she published Biała Rika. Her latest novel Książę, the second volume of the Berlin trilogy initiated with Magik, has recently been published.
