She is a literary scholar, sociocultural animator, translator from Swedish and Norwegian, and the author of articles, anthologies and interviews. She is also co-founder of the Polish Literary Translators Association. She is the winner of the 2018 Wislawa Szymborska Award for her translation of Linn Hansén's book Turn to History and the recipient of a scholarship from the Selma Lagerlöf Society. In 2023, the Swedish Academy honoured her with an award for translators of Swedish literature. Since 2015, she has been contributing to the programme of the Found in Translation Festival.
