Seliga

Polish writer, journalist, and literary scholar, she is the author of the Gołoborze trilogy and co-author of the Historie z Etherton series. She also writes popular science articles and academic monographs, and is a promoter of Slavic culture. Seliga holds a PhD in the humanities. She received the Special Award in the ‘Fantastically Talented’ competition for her ‘fantastically Slavic fantasy writing.’ At the University of Łódź, she conducts research on 19th-century fascination with Slavic heritage, which she shares through social media and her original podcast Retro Slavic Fantasy. She also presents her work through talks, lectures, and conference papers at fan conventions and fantasy festivals.
