Born in 1986, she is a cultural studies scholar, researcher of everyday photographic practices history, curator, visual educator, sociocultural animator, co-author of the book A co wyście myślały? (with Aleksandra Zbroja), author of the project and book Wędrowny Zakład Fotograficzny and the book of essays Nieprzezroczyste. Historie chłopskiej fotografii, for which she was nominated for the Paszporty Polityki Award and the Empik Award. She is a two-time grantee of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in the field of visual arts (2015 and 2020). She is also a graduate of the doctoral program at the Institute of Polish Culture at the University of Warsaw. In 2016, she was awarded the title of the ‘Culturist of the Year’ by Radiowy Dom Kultury - a radio magazine programme. In 2020, she was awarded the Beata Pawlak Award and the Wiesław Kazanecki Award, and was also nominated for the Ryszard Kapuściński Award and the Stanisław Barańczak Award. She lives in the Izerskie Foothills.
