Cultural studies scholar and columnist, professor at the American Studies Center at the University of Warsaw, researcher of feminism and anti-feminism. Her books include Świat bez kobiet (2001, 2021), Rykoszetem (2008), Matka feministka (2014), and Kto się boi gender? (2021, co-authored with Elżbieta Korolczuk). Her work has been published in journals such as Signs, Public Culture, East European Politics and Societies, Feminist Studies, JMEH, Czas Kultury, Teksty Drugie, and ER(R)GO. She is a co-founder of Porozumienie Kobiet 8 Marca (8 March Women's Coalition) and a co-organizer of Kongres Kobiet (the Polish Women’s Congress). She is also the author of the Polish translation of Virginia Woolf’s A Room of One’s Own.
