A historian, editor, and assistant professor at the Institute of Slavic Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences. An alumna of the University of Warsaw, she has held research scholarships from the Ernst Mach Grant at the University of Vienna, the National Science Centre’s ETIUDA programme, and the Institute of European History in Mainz. Her work has been widely recognized; she is a recipient of the Prime Minister’s Award for Doctoral Dis- sertation and a winner of the Inka Brodzka-Wald Competition. In 2015, she co-edited the source collection Archiwum Zgrupowania Armii Krajowej Chrobry II with Katarzyna Utracka, a volume subse- quently nominated for the Polityka weekly Historical Award. Her scholarship has appeared in journals such as East European Politics and Societies, Acta Poloniae Historica, Przegląd Historyczny, and Sprawy Narodowościowe. Beyond her academic writing, she serves on the editorial board of Kultura Liberalna and acts as secretary for Przegląd Historyczny. Her research specializes in the social history of the first half of the twentieth century – exploring individual identities, attitudes, choices, and relationships – and the interwar period in Central Europe, a time defined by rapid modernization, social tensions, and competing ideologies.
