She is a reporter for Gazeta Wyborcza and a tutor at the Polish School of Reportage at the Institute of Reportage. She is also a judge for the Ryszard Kapuściński Award for Literary Reportage, and a member of both the Polish PEN Club and the Literary Union. She graduated in Romance languages and literature. She is the author of the books Mokradełko (2012), Ku-Klux-Klan. Tu mieszka miłość (2015), Kieślowski. Zbliżenie (2018), and Czystka (2021). Her latest book, Świat przed nami nie istniał. O tym, jak wojna oddziałuje na kolejne pokolenia, is currently being published. It represents an attempt to use the language of reportage to explore the transgenerational transmission of trauma.
