Borowski
He is a translator of Portuguese-language literature into Polish and Polish literature into Portuguese, as well as a literature and translation studies scholar. He has won the Kraków UNESCO City of Literature Award and the Brazilian National Foundation for Children's and Young Adults' Books (FNLIJ) Award in the translation/adaptation category for young adults. Borowski has also been a finalist for the Ryszard Kapuściński Award for Literary Reportage and the 'Przecinek i Kropka' Best Children's Book competition. Borowski is also a fellow of the Connecting Emerging Literary Artists (CELA) programme and the Camões Institute's Vieira programme for translators.
