She has been professionally affiliated with the Institute of Iberian Studies at the University of Warsaw since 2011. During the 2016–17 academic year, she also worked at the Institute of Romance Philology at Jagiellonian University, where she taught courses on academic Portuguese, among other subjects. She is a lecturer at the Open University of the University of Warsaw, where she was recognised as one of the top instructors in both 2020 and 2021. She earned her PhD in 2016 with a dissertation on the beginnings of Portuguese statehood, for which she was awarded Summa cum Laude. She has received scholarships and research funding from institutions such as the National Science Centre (under the Miniatura 3 programme) and the Camões Institute. As part of the Erasmus+ programme, she lectures at various European universities (including the Universidade de Évora, Universidade do Porto, Universidade dos Açores, Universidade do Minho and Università degli Studi di Torino). She continually develops her academic and teaching skills through numerous courses and workshops. Her research primarily focuses on literature from the period of the Iberian Union and the Portuguese Restoration, as well as early printed books. She has presented papers at numerous academic conferences in Poland and abroad.
