Writer and reporter. She is the author of several non-fiction books, including Ganbare! Warsztaty umierania, and Auroville: Miasto z Marzeń. She has also written essays, short stories and a children's book about the ocean and its creatures titled Ośmiornica Zośka. She writes about trauma, grief and hope. She focuses her work on the lives of war refugees, people affected by natural disasters and those at the heart of the climate crisis. Over the past few years, she has written extensively about climate change and its implications for our future. She explores ways in which we can cope with the anxiety triggered by the climate crisis, and how we might learn to live in this emerging world. In her most recent work, she gives voice to non-human beings and their perspectives. She believes that moving away from anthropocentrism could help us to confront the challenges of the Anthropocene era. She is the author of three non-fiction books for adults, a children’s book about the ocean and its creatures, numerous essays and several short stories. Her work has received multiple awards and nominations in Poland and abroad, including the 2025 European Press Prize for her article 'Mothers at the End of the World'.
