Justyna Suchecka is a journalist who specialises in education-related topics. She has worked at tvn24.pl since 2019, having spent 11 years at Gazeta Wyborcza. She is the author of several bestselling books for and about young people: Young Power: 30 historii o tym, jak młodzi zmieniają świat (2020), Nie powiem ci, że wszystko będzie dobrze (2022), and Pokolenie zmiany. Młodzi o sobie i świecie, który nadejdzie (2023). In autumn 2024, she published Cała nadzieja w szkole. Polska edukacja może być wspaniała, in which she explores the most pressing challenges facing the Polish education system. Suchecka has received numerous awards for her work. She is a two-time winner of the Grand Press Award (in 2020 and 2023), a recipient of the Woyciechowski Journalism Award (in 2023), and in 2024 she was honoured with the Korczak Award in the ‘Leaders’ category. This award recognises individuals who advocate for children's rights and equal, accessible education, as well as those who foster environments that support the development and protection of young citizens.
