He holds a PhD in the humanities and is an assistant professor at the Department of Contemporary Polish Literature and Literary Criticism at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. He is the author of scholarly monographs on Stanisław Lem and Jacek Dukaj, as well as dozens of academic and critical articles on contemporary Polish literature. He was awarded the Chrysalis Award by the European Science Fiction Society for the most promising debut, and was nominated for the 2023 Śląkfa Award in the Creator of the Year category, as well as the 2023 Janusz A. Zajdel Award. His monograph Granice ludzkiego poznania. O wybranych aspektach twórczości Jacka Dukaja was nominated for the 2024 Nowa Fantastyka Award in the Best Polish Book category. His novel Wszystkie drogi prowadzą was also nominated for the 2024 Janusz A. Zajdel Award.
