A sinologist by education, an anglophile by passion. She translates from both English and Chinese. A recipient of Taiwan’s Huayu Enrichment Scholarship and a Chinese Government Scholarship. She has worked at the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, where she promoted Polish culture in East Asia. She has also taught Chinese–Polish translation at SWPS University and has served several times as a juror for the Sinoprzekład translation competition. Among nearly 100 translations to her name are Pow! by Nobel laureate Mo Yan, the Pulitzer Prize–winning Trust by Hernan Diaz, and the Booker-nominated Maps of Our Spectacular Bodies by Maddie Mortimer.
