DISCUSSIONS
12:00- 13:30

The debate will highlight remarkable female authors who thrived outside the renowned Parisian salons of Gertrude Stein and Colette, as well as the Bloomsbury group founded in London by Virginia Woolf. Justyna Czechowska, who will host the debate, introduces it as follows: "We will discuss the bestselling novels of Selma Lagerlöf and Sally Salminen, the poetry of Edith Södergran, and the female writers from the banks of the Nemunas, all of whom became milestones of modernist literature." The debate will be interpreted into Polish Sign Language.
