Accessibility for events<\/strong><\/p>\n

Admission to the events is free, no prior registration is required. All meetings with authors and debates, regardless of venue, will be interpreted into Polish Sign Language.<\/p>\n

Architectural accessibility<\/strong><\/p>\n

Our office is located in Goyki 3 Art Inkubator at Jakub Goyki 3 in Sopot.<\/p>\n

Goyki 3 Art Inkubator<\/b><\/span>
\n
\n<\/b>The entrance to the building is at pavement level. There is a lift available inside the building. The interior spaces are accessible \u2013 the corridors and most rooms are wide enough to allow for easy movement. There is a bathroom on site adapted for people with disabilities. You may enter the building with an assistance dog or a guide dog.<\/p>\n

\nGoyki Park<\/strong><\/span>
\n
\nThe park grounds are flat, with no steep slopes or hills. The park features paved walking paths, some of which have wooden surfaces. There are numerous benches throughout the park for resting. A bathroom adapted for people with disabilities is located in the Goyki 3 Art Inkubator building, situated on the same site. You may enter the park with an assistance dog or a guide dog.<\/p>\n

\nLocation:<\/strong> The building is situated at ul. Jakuba Goyki 3, very close to the city centre, between the railway tracks and the sea.

\nHow to get there:<\/strong> You can get there by taking the SKM Tr\u00f3jmiasto train to the station \u201cSopot\u201d (located at ul. Tadeusza Ko\u015bciuszki 14). From there, it is about a 15-minute walk along ul. Obro\u0144c\u00f3w Westerplatte, heading away from the city centre. There are also bus stops nearby: \u201cGoyki\u201d (direction: Gdynia) and \u201cMalczewskiego\u201d (direction: Gda\u0144sk). The path to the building leads over a small, paved rise.

\nParking:<\/strong> Paid parking spaces are available nearby, including spaces designated for people with disabilities. Bicycle parking spaces are also available.<\/p>\n

\nNational Gallery of Art<\/strong><\/span>
\n
\nThe main entrance to the building is at pavement level, and the entrance doors open automatically. There is a passenger lift available in the building. The interior spaces are fully accessible \u2013 both the corridors and rooms are sufficiently wide, allowing for easy movement. There is a bathroom adapted for people with disabilities on every floor. You may enter the building with an assistance dog or a guide dog.<\/p>\n

\nLocation:<\/strong> The State Art Gallery is situated at Plac Zdrojowy 2, right in the centre of Sopot, on
\nul. Bohater\u00f3w Monte Cassino (known as Monciak) and Plac Przyjaci\u00f3\u0142 Sopotu, with a view of the sea and the pier.

\nHow to get there?:<\/strong> You can get there by taking the SKM Tr\u00f3jmiasto train to the station \u201cSopot\u201d (located at ul. Tadeusza Ko\u015bciuszki 14). From there, it is about a 10-minute walk along ul. Bohater\u00f3w Monte Cassino towards the sea. The route follows a wide, cobbled path.

Due to its central location in the tourist part of the city, finding a free space can be difficult, particularly during the summer season, so we recommend using public transport.<\/p>\n

\nEvangelical Lutheran Church of the Savior<\/strong><\/span>
\n
\nThe entrance to the building is at a pavement level. The interior space is located on one level, but there are small thresholds and height differences, for example, the benches are placed on a slightly raised platform. There is a bathroom on the ground floor, but it is quite narrow and does not allow for wheelchair maneuvering, nor does it include other accessibility adaptations. Assistance dogs and guide dogs are allowed inside.<\/p>\n

\nLocation:<\/strong> The church is located at ul. Parkowa 5 (Skwer ks. Otto Bowiena), next to a small park. It is situated a short distance from the beach and the sea, in the seaside part of the city.

\nHow to get there:<\/strong> You can get there by taking the SKM Tr\u00f3jmiasto train to the station \u201cSopot\u201d (located at ul. Tadeusza Ko\u015bciuszki 14), then you need to walk about 13 minutes along ul. Bohater\u00f3w Monte Cassino toward the sea. Near the Dom Zdrojowy building, turn toward the park area where the church is located.

\nSmak S\u0142owa bookshop<\/strong><\/span>

\nThe entrance to the bookstore requires passing three steps, there is no ramp for wheelchair users. The interior space is on one level, without thresholds, steps, or stairs. There is no accessible bathroom on site. Assistance dogs and guide dogs are allowed inside.<\/p>\n

\nLocation:<\/strong> The bookstore is located at ul. Bohater\u00f3w Monte Cassino 6A, in the very center of Sopot, on the main pedestrian street (known as Monciak), a short distance from the \u201cSopot\u201d train station (ul. Tadeusza Ko\u015bciuszki 14).

\nHow to get there:<\/strong> You can reach it by taking the SKM Tr\u00f3jmiasto train to the \u201cSopot\u201d station, then walking about 5 minutes. The bookstore is located in the upper part of the pedestrian street, in line with the station. The \u201cBohater\u00f3w Monte Cassino\u201d bus stop (direction: Gda\u0144sk) is about a one\u2011minute walk from the bookstore. The stop in the direction of Gdynia is accessible via an underpass located directly next to the bookstore.

\nThe entrance to 3 Siostry Caf\u00e9\u2011Club is slightly above pavement level (a terrace\u2011like platform), accessed by two steps and a ramp. Inside, there are few singular steps, thresholds, and stairs. The building does not have a lift. There is no accessible bathroom on site. Assistance dogs and guide dogs are allowed inside.<\/p>\n

\nLocation:<\/strong> 3 Siostry Caf\u00e9\u2011Club is located at ul. Powsta\u0144c\u00f3w Warszawy 6 in Sopot, within the Dom Zdrojowy complex.

\nThere are two entrances to the venue. One is at pavement level, but after entering there are several steps leading to the main space. The second entrance is slightly above pavement level, there is a ramp, but then a small step at the doorway. Inside, there are singular steps and thresholds. There is no lift inside the building. There is no accessible bathroom on site. Assistance dogs and guide dogs are allowed inside..<\/p>\n

\nLocation:<\/strong> Dwie Zmiany Caf\u00e9\u2011Club is located at ul. Bohater\u00f3w Monte Cassino 31 in Sopot.

\n You can reach it by taking the SKM Tr\u00f3jmiasto train to the \u201cSopot\u201d station (ul. Tadeusza Ko\u015bciuszki 14), then walking about 5 minutes toward ul. Bohater\u00f3w Monte Cassino. There are also nearby bus stops named \u201cBohater\u00f3w Monte Cassino\u201d in both the Gda\u0144sk and Gdynia directions.

\nScena Kameralna at Wybrze\u017ce Theatre<\/strong><\/span>

\nThe Chamber Stage of the Wybrze\u017ce Theatre has a main entrance directly at pavement level. The entrance doors open semi\u2011automatically, making access easier for people with limited mobility. There is a lift inside the building. In the foyer, there is a tactile map (to the right of the entrance) to assist blind and visually impaired visitors. An accessible bathroom is located to the left of the entrance to the auditorium. Assistance dogs and guide dogs are allowed inside.<\/p>\n

\nLocation:<\/strong> The Chamber Stage is located at ul.Bohater\u00f3w Monte Cassino 30 in Sopot, in the central part of the pedestrian street.

\nSopoteka is located on the first floor of a building. The main entrance to the facility is on the underground level \u20131. The building is equipped with a lift and escalators, allowing movement between floors. There is a paid bathroom on level 0. The Sopoteka space on level 1 is fully accessible and located on a single floor, without thresholds, steps, or other architectural barriers. Assistance dogs and guide dogs are allowed inside.<\/p>\n

\nLocation:<\/strong> Sopoteka is located in the \u201cSopot Centrum\u201d complex at ul. Tadeusza Ko\u015bciuszki 12 in Sopot.

\nHow to get there::<\/strong> You can reach it by taking the SKM Tr\u00f3jmiasto train to the \u201cSopot\u201d station, which is directly integrated into the \u201cSopot Centrum\u201d complex. From the main entrance (level \u20131), take the lift or escalator to level 1, where Sopoteka is located.

\nParking:<\/strong> The \u201cSopot Centrum\u201d complex includes a paid underground parking garage, with spaces designated for people with disabilities.<\/p>\n

\nBook Fair<\/strong><\/span>
\n
\nThe Book Fair takes place in two large tents set on a slightly raised platform. Ramps lead into the tents. Inside, the space is wide and allows for easy movement, although during peak hours there may be heavy foot traffic and crowding. There are no bathrooms. Other than that, there are no other architectural barriers at the event site. Assistance dogs and guide dogs are allowed.<\/p>\n
